We will definitely be back. Food was amazing French onion was the best I've ever tasted Burger perfect it was too big for me to finish Short Rib pasta should have got one to go. Cocktails didn't hit it out of the park with the mix drink but next visit I would just order wine or spirits. French 75 Espresso Martini Service We had a great server. He may have had too many tables. We waited a little for the check but we would absolutely ask for him again. He suggested menu items and was super friendly and professional Beautiful seating indoors and outdoors. You can't go wrong. Cheers to an amazing establishment!!
Great service, fresh & exquisite food, and an amazing ambiance. I was excited so finally have a chance to eat here- probably my new fav place to eat in Atlanta.
This is still in my top 3 favorite Atlanta restaurants. Can now confirm that brunch is just as delightful as dinner here. Can't go wrong with anything - super fresh food, amazing service, and beautiful surroundings.
What can I say? This was my first time here, and it was for lunch with a few friends. The experience was terrific from beginning to end. The Chastain serves up elevated American bistro fares. I highly recommend you check it out. Read further to dive into my thoughts on The Chastain. PARKING Complimentary valet, sure thing! Don't forget to tip. No worries if you don't have cash; it's 2024, so the workers accept other forms of payment, such as Venmo and ApplePay. STAFF The staff here is kindhearted, welcoming, and friendly. They all want you to enjoy every moment of your experience--all smiles. Shoutout to the hostess, Sharitza, and our waitress, Ariella. FOOD //FIRSTS * Beef Tallow Tater Tots -- Just wow! The tots are carefully fried to perfection. They're crispy yet soft inside, accompanied by crème fraiche and chives, and topped with Kaluga caviar. //GREENS * Vonnie's Sprouts -- This shareable salad consists of Pea & Sunflower Sprouts, Toasted Sunflower Seeds Buttermilk Ricotta, Green Garlic, and Parmesan. Refreshing! //SIDES * Chicken Biscuit Pot Pie - Another winner. Flakey and buttery pastry and tasty gravy, all baked to perfection. //SANDWICHES * The TC Cheese Burger -- The burger comprises Lettuce, Pickle, Caramelized Onion Aíoli, American Cheese Ketchup, and freshly ground Chatel Farms Beef. The talk around town is that this is a hot entree at The Chastain. The burger and the fries were fantastic. * Vonnie's Wrap--The wrap comprises Curried Flat Bread, Sunflower Sprouts, Pea Shoots, Lemon Vinaigrette, Labneh Green Garlic Aioli, and Cucumber Salad. If you want a refreshing and healthy sandwich, get this! It's not heavy and flavorful. * Heirloom Tomato B.L.T. --This sandwich has thick slices of Nueske's Bacon, Lettuce, Heirloom Tomato, and Mayo--another delicious sandwich. The tomatoes are grown in the garden out back. //DESSERT * Peach Blintzes -- The Crepe Blintzes are filled with Cheese & Dulce de Leche Peach Compote and topped with Vanilla Whipped Cream. Speechless. I'm a sucker for dessert and pastries, and this marries the two beautifully. Another shareable dessert for the table. It was so good. Overall, The Chastain is a great restaurant to visit for midday lunch with friends, business talk, or dinner in the evening for an anniversary or birthday celebration.
It took my lovely bride and I quite a while to recover from the modern renovation of the Horseradish Grill into The Chastain, but the food and service do make up for the loss. We like going for a light breakfast after walking around the park. We love their ham & cheese croissant and avocado toast. The long black coffee is excellent. Pleasant and efficient service. Highly recommended!
Brandon made our momma-daughter dinner delightful. He reinforced our picks for appetizers and altered our path for the main course. His excitement and knowledge of the menu was helpful as we made our choices. Service was excellent by the whole team with fresh cutlery and plat a as we wove through the courses. The shishito peppers were perfectly cooked and delicious. It was a great way to start the meal. The tallow tots .... Not the best choice for a humid summer dinner, delicious, but a bit heavy for this weather. The tomato salad was perfect. Perfect in this humidity. The tart tomatoes with almost buttery croutons felt like summer. Juicy, full, flavorful. The rich risotto rounded led us right to the perfect pork chop. Full of smoke it tasted like super summer bbq. The grits served with the pork chop were dreamy and flavorful. Rounding out our delicious summer dinner.
We joined a Mother's Day celebration at this restaurant for brunch. The decor was elegant but welcoming. The service was impeccable and the pastry choices looked wonderful, but you had to go over to the coffee house section to see them. I definitely recommend going there to look before you choose from the menu. There were a number of good brunch choices, and I think that we enjoyed all of them, though I still found the pastries to be the best part. There was a beautiful bar area in front of a large glass window which is definitely worth a look and a photo. This was a nice choice for a special occasion. We did have reservations and I would recommend it. Don't be put off by the long line, as it may be for the coffee and pastry line for takeaway, rather than the restaurant.
I went here for my birthday recently and enjoyed myself! There is valet parking but since it's right next to Chastain Park, we just parallel parked and walked. The food was great, especially the roasted mushroom campanelle! My boyfriend also enjoyed the TC Cheeseburger. The pot pie was very filling. I'm not sure what kind of bread for it they used but I thought it looked burnt but really, the bread was brown (I don't think it was wheat). The inside of the restaurant can be a little bit dark during the evening and if it's packed, you may have a hard time hearing your conversation. Overall, the service was great and the food was really good. I hope to be back soon!
FRIED TURKEY WING!! I'll say it again for the people in the back...FRIED TURKEY WING! An absolute must stop if you're ever in ATL.
The Chastain is such a beautiful restaurant! We came for coffee and pastries on a Sunday and it was perfect. Definitely busy because it's the weekend but that was to be expected. We were able to order quickly and our orders came out accurately and timely and all together which was nice. We all got latte variations which we loved along with a few pastries and breakfast sandwiches. We sat in their back area next to the garden full of fresh herbs and veggies which they use in their dinner menu! So cool! Perfect for a slow weekend coffee date and would love to come back to try their dinner
